- Ephesians 6:10-11 (AMP) “In conclusion, be strong in the Lord. Be empowered through your union with Him; draw your strength from Him, that strength which His boundless might provides.
- v.11, Put on God's whole armor, the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies, that you may be able successfully to stand up against all the strategies and the deceits of the devil.
- v.12, For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood, contending only with physical opponents, but against the despotisms, against the powers, against the master spirits who are the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly supernatural sphere.
- v.13, Therefore put on God's complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day of danger, and, having done all the crisis demands, to stand firmly in your place.
- v.14, Stand therefore, hold your ground, having tightened the belt of truth around your loins and having put on the breastplate of integrity and of moral rectitude and right standing with God,
- v.15, And having shod your feet in preparation to face the enemy with the firm-footed stability, the promptness, and the readiness produced by the good news of the Gospel of peace.
- v.16, Lift up over all the covering shield of saving faith, upon which you can quench all the flaming missiles of the wicked one.
- v.17, And take the helmet of salvation and the sword that the Spirit wields, which is the Word of God.”
- Romans 4, God made something out of Abraham when he was a nobody
- Because he dared to trust God to do what only God could do, not based on what he saw but on what God said.
- He did not waver at God’s promise, but was strengthened in faith, because he was totally convinced that what God promised He would do.
- God doesn’t empower spectators!!
- Ephesians 6:12 (NLT) For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.
- Galatians 6:9 (NLT) “So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.”
- Colossians 3:1-2 (MSG) So if you’re serious about living this new resurrection life with Christ, act like it. Pursue the things over which Christ presides. Don’t shuffle along, eyes to the ground, absorbed with the things right in front of you.
- Look up, and be alert to what is going on around Christ, that’s where the action is. See things from his perspective.
- Ephesians 3:20 (NIV) Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us.
- 2 Timothy 2:1, My son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
- 1 John 2:14, You are strong and the word of God abides in you.
