• Ezekiel 44:11 (NKJV) “Yet they shall be ministers in My sanctuary, as gatekeepers of the house and ministers of the house; they shall slay the burnt offering and the sacrifice for the people, and they shall stand before them to minister to them.”

• First, gates represent arenas of influence in society. Gates of influence, like Church, Family, Education, Government, Business, Media, Entertainment

• Matthew 28:18-20 (NLT) Jesus came and told his disciples, I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth.
• Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
• One of his most famous conclusions dare I say prophetic:
• If there is a decay of conscience, the pulpit is responsible.
• If the press lacks moral discrimination, the pulpit is responsible.
• If the church becomes degenerate and worldly, the pulpit is responsible.
• If the world loses its interest in religion, the pulpit is responsible.
• If satan rules in our hall of justice, the pulpit is responsible.
• If our politics and government become corrupt, the pulpit is responsible.

• Matthew 16:17-19 (NLT) Jesus replied, “You are blessed, Simon son of John, because my Father in heaven has revealed this to you. You did not learn this from any human being. Now I say to you that you are Peter (which means ‘rock’), and upon this rock I will build my church, and all the powers of hell (gates of hell) will not conquer it. (Cannot prevail against it) And I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you forbid on earth will be forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit on earth will be permitted in heaven.”
